Welcome to Mrs. Morin's preschool integrated program at school #4!!

Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself.   I am currently in my 4th year of teaching in school #4 and my 8th year of teaching preschool in the Belleville school district.  I absolutely love working with the younger students and wouldn't have it any other way.  I graduated from Caldwell College with Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Special Education in 2010.  My educational certifications include:
  • P-3
  • K-5
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC).
I love going to school and learning, and hope to instill those same thoughts in our classroom.
Before working in Belleville, I was teaching at a private school for children with autism, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching techniques.  I have a background in behavior interventions as well as teaching self help skills that will assist our students to be more independent in both school and at home.
During this school year, I have goals for our class to achieve as a whole and some for our students to reach personally.  As a class I intend to create an environment where our students will feel safe to grow and discover new things.  I believe in a positive reinforcement system that will increase learning both academically and socially.  We will learn preacademic concepts to prepare for a future education, but more importantly, as a class we are learning to be active members in the community.  This includes learning self help skills, rule following, and how to be a good friend.

If you at anytime there is a question or concern please feel free to email me.  I check my emails daily and will get back to you as quickly as possible.
