Principal’s Message

Dear School Number Four Families and Community,

Welcome to the new school year! There is incredible excitement in the air as teachers, students, and parents anticipate this  new school year. As your principal, I am committed to continuing the tremendous legacy, tradition, and evasion of Belleville School #4. I am thrilled to be part of a dynamic staff of dedicated, talented, caring, and committed educators and am excited to be working with our wonderful an brilliant students. One of Belleville School #4 greatest strengths is our powerful family and community support. As parents, guardians and family, you are your child’s first and greatest teacher. Together as a loving school community — family and school — working as a mutually trusted and respected team, we exemplify our belief and philosophy that “it takes an entire village to raise and educate a child!”

The Belleville School #4 teaching and support staff is committed to providing caring and safe learning environments that educate the minds along with encouraging the hearts and spirits of our students. Our staff provides powerful and challenging curriculum and instructional activities designed to meet the educational needs of students. Communication between home and school is valued. You will receive bi-monthly school newsletters and teacher created communications including newsletters, e-mails, phone calls, notes, and progress reports. “Back to School Night” will be held in September so that the parents have the needed information to support their child in his or her current school experience. Parent-teacher conferences will be held in January focusing on their first report of progress for the year. Academic goals for continued growth and success are established together. As the principal of School #4, my door is always opened to you. Educating children through exceptional school programs is our business and our passion. Your child is important to us. Together as a school family, let us enjoy and relish every moment of this school year with our students because it passes by so quickly as if “in the blink of an eye!”

Warmest regards,

Principal Dora Cavallo
