Welcome Back To School!

Welcome to second grade! My name is Stephanie Duran and I will be your child’s teacher this 2022-2023 year. While I may have been a familiar face in the building as a substitute last year, this will be my first official year teaching 2nd grade at School #4 and I could not be more excited! We have so much to look forward to this school year. There are lots of new things to learn, new friends to make, and memories to create!

Pick Up and Drop Off Information:

Morning Arrival: 2nd grade students will report to the gym and sit at their designated table each morning. I will come greet the class and bring them upstairs to the classroom at 8:35. Please do not bring students to school before 8:20, there is no one outside to watch them and they will not be admitted into the building prior to this time!

Pick up: Students will be brought outside to the parking lot at 3:15 outside of Door #5. To ensure the students are picked up safely, each child will be given a popsicle stick with their name on it every day. They are not to leave until they hand the popsicle stick back to me and I give them the okay to leave. I realize everyone wants to leave quickly, but my biggest priority is your child’s safety. Please do not pull your child out of the line as we exit the building.
