Hello and welcome to the resource room! For those of you that don't know me, my name is Miss. Samantha Sage and I will be your child's math support teacher this year. I am a recent graduate from Montclair State University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Teaching, specifically for students with disabilities. I am a first year teacher but luckily for me, I was able to do my student teaching in a surrounding district. I am very excited to be joining the Belleville School 4 team and getting to know all of my students and colleagues!
As a teacher, my philosophies are grounded in the ideals of inclusive and democratic practices. My goal as an educator is to create a classroom community that is filled with successful students, a positive mindset, and lots of good energy! I make it a priority to build strong relationships with my student and their families so the students can reach their highest potential. Thank you in advance for your help and support!
I am very excited for the 2021-2022 school year. This year, I will be doing in-class math support with kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grade students.
