Welcome! I'm Mrs. Nacht and I am so pleased to be your child’s teacher this year! We are going to have a wonderful school year together! This is my 7th year in Belleville and I absolutely love my job! I am passionate about teaching and inspiring children to learn. I can't wait to see what wonderful things we will accomplish this year together.

Thank you Emmett for visiting us today and teaching us all about what it's like to be a service dog in training!!
The 1st grade was very lucky to be visited by Brian, Kat, and their 5 1/2 month old trainee, Emmett, who visited from The Seeing Eye! They spoke to us about what it is like to train a dog firsthand to become a service dog.Our class listened to the presenters and took turns asking questions about training a dog. 
Our School will be having Kid's Fun Night on Friday, May 5th. Our class is creating a basket to donate to the event! Our theme is Coloring! Please be sure to check the flyer going home today for more details!
Saturday, March 25 from 10 am - 2 pm is our Health, Wellness, and Safety Fair at Belleville High School! Be sure to stop by to our School 4 Table!! 
We are having a COIN Challenge in our school! The class that brings in the most coins wins a pizza party!! Please be sure to bring in ANY spare change you have. You have been doing a great job bringing in coins but we have a long way to go to win! Contest ends March 31st!! Thank you in advance for all you do!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are being scheduled for January 23, 24, 25 and 26th. These days are half day schedules for your children, 12:30 dismissal. Please be sure to check your child's backpack for your assigned conference time. Thank you and I look forward to seeing all of you!
Happy New Year! Welcome back to school everybody! It is officially 2017 and we are so happy to be back rocking and rolling in school. Now that it is the second half of the school year we will be moving a little quicker. I know that we can handle it, we are professional 1st graders now!

Jan 23, 24, 25, 26- 1/2 Day Schedule- Parent/Teacher Conferences
I could not be more proud of our class... we are officially published authors! Our class loved showing off our book to the other 1st grade classes and celebrating at our Author's Read Aloud. 

We are having a COAT & HAT Drive!

Our school is proudly collecting hats, coats, and gloves sizes infant-adult. Please bring in one or more of these items to help those in need during this time of year. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
December is starting to creep up on us! Here are some important dates to keep in mind...
Dec 2- 12:30 dismissal- please be prompt in picking up your child
Dec 9- Breakfast with Santa (wear your favorite holiday sweater!)
Dec 16- Winter Concert 1:30 in the All Purpose Room (Be sure to practice at home!)
Dec 23- 12:30 dismissal- please be prompt in picking up your child
Dec 26-Dec 30- Winter Recess NO SCHOOL
Our Thanksgiving feast was a HUGE success thanks to all of YOU! Thank you ALL for bringing in an item for us to eat. It truly was a wonderful experience for our class and hopefully one they will never forget! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday!
