I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher for the 2017-2018 school year! Going to Kindergarten is such a special experience for both children and their parents. It is a new journey that is both exciting and challenging, and I will be there every step of the way! I am looking forward to getting to know all my students and their parents and forming positive relationships. I will work hard to make this the best experience possible :)
This will be a year filled with a lot of firsts, a ton of enjoyment, and endless learning!
If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Thank you in advance for all your support.
November is going to be a quick, but fun month in Kindergarten!
This month we will celebrate Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. We will write thank you's to our heroes overseas and give thanks for all we have. We will continue to learn about pumpkins, the seasons, and other fall themes. In language arts we will continue learning new letters of the alphabet each week and letter sounds. We will also be learning how to recognize and produce words that rhyme as well as identify movement words also known as verbs. In math we will continue to practice counting, writing, and recognizing numbers and also using different ways to make 10.

November 7 - No school (Election Day)
November 9&10 - No School (Teacher's Convention)
